Learn the art of decorative painting
This is a workshop for everyone, be inspired, get creative. Set in the wonderful space of Somerset studio Wilde Green Studio relax and have some fun.
Nancy Daniell the very talented self taught artist will be using Colourman Paints, to teach decorative painting, In this workshop she will be sharing her creative process, her style and showing the versatility of Colourman Paints for use in decorative arts.
In keeping with the festive season Nancy has decorated her wooden box with a partridge in a pear tree, with some mistletoe detailing around the base – there will be lots of inspiration to create your own – the perfect time to create a 12 days of Christmas theme – to keep or gift.
Come and join us. Everything you need will be provided (box, paints, brushes) Please bring an apron. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
About Nancy Daneille
Nancy is a self-taught artist previously working on a variety of interior artworks including free-hand painted murals, furniture & hand-painted silk wallpaper. From playful nursery murals to large scale landscapes, Nancy’s subjects vary but a firm favourite is that of birds.
About Colourman Paints
Colourman Paints started life in the 1970s, created by antiques dealer and restorer, Chris Mowe in his Staffordshire workshop. Renowned for his knowledge and traditional hand craftsmanship, he had a passion for colour and history. Frustrated by the lack of paint in authentic, heritage colours required for his restoration projects, Chris began to research C18th and C19th buttermilk paints. Mixing earth pigments, chalk and clay he worked on a unique recipe replicating the historic and rich colours and he created a quality water based chalk paint. Colourman Paints® was born.
